Chelsea and Jake are experienced with building better food systems. Their latest venture, Prairiebird Pastures, aims to bring more local beef to market while protecting grassland bird habitat---grazing cattle with bird habitat in mind. Native birds and pollinators can thrive on the grasslands they evolved with, while deep-rooted prairie plants foster healthier air, streams, and soil.
