Alternative Spring Break Internship 2022

Join our team of 5 local St. Louis High Schoolers from the Ferguson-Florissant School District, Audubon staff and partner organizations for this weeklong work experience!

The Audubon Center at Riverlands will expand its youth work and career exposure opportunities through the development of a new paid alternative spring break experience. This paid job opportunity will provide five St. Louis region teens with real work experience, career exposure, and networking opportunities in the field of environmental conservation and sustainability.

  • This program supports the goals of the Gateway to Green Careers project by providing  new sustainability and conservation focused job opportunities for teens in the St. Louis region.
  • Learning topics will include themes of water quality and conservation, environmental justice trainings, wildlife habitat management, land management including invasive species removal, and more.
