Conservation Leadership Crew Internship

Join our team of 5-10 local St. Louis High Schoolers from the Ferguson-Florissant and Hazelwood School Districts, Audubon staff and partner organizations for this weeklong work experience! 

The Audubon Center at Riverlands offers youth work and career exposure opportunities through the Conservation Leadership Crew experience. This paid job opportunity provides five St. Louis region teens with real work experience, career exposure, and networking opportunities in the field of environmental conservation and sustainability.

  • This program supports the goals of the Gateway to Green Careers project by providing  new sustainability and conservation focused job opportunities for teens in the St. Louis region.
  • Learning topics will include themes of water quality and conservation, environmental justice trainings, wildlife habitat management, land management including invasive species removal, and more. Teens will also assist in habitat management and other conservation projects happening on site at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary.

During Spring Break: March 25th-29th 2024 for Ferguson-Florissant Students| Mon-Fri | $15.00/hr | 8a-4p

During Spring Break: April 15th-19th 2024 for Hazelwood Students| Mon-Fri | $15.00/hr | 8a-4p
