Tours

The Audubon Center at Riverlands is great place for your group to visit!

We are an accessible building perfect for bird watching. We are perfect for bus tours. The typical bus tour consists of your participants being greeted at the Center by a knowledgeable guide. While in the center your participants can look around at exhibits and look for birds in our high-powered spotting scopes. Your guide will take your participants into the theater for a short 10 minute video on the birds of the area and the sanctuary. Then your guide will join you on the bus for a tour of the sanctuary. The whole trip usually lasts at least an hour, and is best to schedule an hour and a half for a larger group. The price for guided trips are the same as field trips: $3.00 a person with leaders and chaperones being free. For those interested in guided experiences or more structured classes please contact Julie Watson at jwatson@audubon.org 636-899-0090.
